So it looks like I'm probably going into LA tonight to hang out. I've heard that there's some excellent ethiopian food there, which is excellent, as I'm pretty sure I haven't eaten anything that didn't involve caffeine or alcohol since Thursday. Which brings up an interesting point - I tend to have periods where I just lose my appetite completely. To the extent that I lose upwards of 5 pounds over the course of 2 or 3 days. Is this normal? It's kinda freaking me out a little. I don't feel any different (well, shakier, but that's probably due to the other substances I've been consuming)

Update: It looks like I might be eating at Roscoe's Chicken and Waffle House instead. This is probably better.

I have never had good Ethiopian food. There were a few Ethiopian place in Minneapolis that I tried. They were all horrible. Maybe I just don't like Ethiopian. But I have heard people say it can be very good. I suppose some people might think "well what do you expect going to an Ethiopian place in Minneapolis?" But it actually has a large Ethiopian and Eritrean population. Funny, people seem to think Minnesota is very vanilla, but I saw way more diversity there than I ever have anywhere else in a city of that size.
I have never had Roscoe's either, but I have heard very good things and I love fried chicken. Hope you enjoyed it.
