YYAAAAARRRRR!!! 
For the photography nerds out there: I just pulled the trigger and bought some Alien Bees strobes AND a ringflash.
I am totally and completely excited. I've never actually used strobes before, so it should be a fun learning experience. I've also got four photoshoots scheduled for this weekend in LA, and I'm pretty excited about that. I won't have the strobes until next week, but I'll be bringing the ringflash with me. I can't wait to use it!
In other news, I'm going to get to see Sonic Youth in Santa Monica on Saturday, and I'm getting my first deep tissue massage on Sunday. I'm kinda scared, but I figure if I can sit through six hours of needles in my arm, I can probably handle 90 minutes of massaging. But then again, I can be a wuss about weird things.
