you know what annoys me most about this stupid redesign? it's not that it takes forever to load, or that i can't find anything, or even that all of my recent comments in the butt sex group are front and center on my "home page". no, the thing that bugs the fuck out of me is how they've decided to handle the navigation for journals. specifically, that the link to go to a PREVIOUS journal entry is on the RIGHT side. see, that's just retarded and it makes me sad.
it's my birthday on monday. this is the first birthday in a really, really long time where i've been single. i'm not doing well with it, especially since my birthday last year coincided with meeting The Girl for the first time, which means that it also would have been our one year anniversary. she was going to come out here for a week (starting tomorrow), and I was going to surprise her with something stupidly romantic. but now i'm just going to work a lot of overtime and try not to think about things.

Yeah it's a bummer about the camera - although I'm not cameraless if I really have to take photo's I can't really be arsed with 35mm anymore: my digital had its limitations but I worked around them. I'd given it up as gone for good as soon as the bus pulled away though and started thinking of its replacement, which will be even better. Think I shall keep that one chained to my person though
