Here is the review:
"In the past few years grindhouse cinema has become all the rage. From Hollywood-types like Tarantino and Rodriguez making their own updated version of the classic double-feature to remakes of classic exploitation and 42nd Street fare like Last House on the Left. Another fringe fad recently come to the mainstream is tattooed alternative hotties led by the charge of the Suicide Girls. Outstanding SG photographer Mike Pecci has now melded the two mediums into his own concoction of hard-boiled action and hard-on enducing sex in his film festival favorite short, Cold Hard Cash.
Voluptuous Tanya (Eliska) and bull-dyke hottie Deane (Odette) are forced to retrieve a briefcase full of money for criminal kingpin Duvelle after they both seperately fall into debt to him. The reluctant team of sexy crooks murder the pencil-neck accountant and yank the loot. Once in hand, they take the haul back to Deanes crib where they get, um, aquainted with one another via a black strap-on and a bed full of cash. But there is no honor among these thieves and they turn on each other and try to get off with the money by themselves. One of them gets an upper hand and wants the other to sleep with the fishes which leads to an ironic and surprising ending.
Many of the actual movies that showed up in the exploitation movie houses back in the day didnt live up to the fantastic posters and highlight laden trailers. But Mike Pecci, like Tarantino and Rodriguez before him, decided to pack as much action into his films run time as possible. The violence is bloody and graphic and the sex and nudity is plentiful. The entire 20 minutes was like a fantastic thrill ride for adults. Peccis eye with a camera, whether it be stills or video, is exceptional. He understands effective lighting techniques and composition that many others lack. Not the mention the flawless post editing that added a lot of stylized touches.
I really hope he, along with talented writer known only as Mr. Lynch, decide to do a feature in the near future. I would love to see the plot and characters in Cold Hard Cash fleshed out. I think there were some potentially interesting badasses here especially Duvelles heavies played by Tron Howitzer and Poppy Suicide. They reminded me a lot of Vincent and Jules from Pulp Fiction if instead of Jules being a black man, he was a hot, raven-haired, tatted-up chick. The DVD release is pretty sweet and has tons of extras for a short. Commentaries, 2 versions of the film, a music video and so much more will keep you satisfied for your supplement fix." - cinesploitation.com

It took me long enough, but I finally watched Capture Device tonight. I really enjoyed it. It's very professionally done. Keep up the good work, sir.
