Ra! what a busy weekend, have been very tired today but managed to get into town and then the workshop, back to the Gym tomorow
Went down to london on thursday and bumped into carrie on the train, so that made the journey more intresting . But then when we got to london because we were talking , well carrie was talking! I left my soapbag on the train, fortunetly it was still there when I went back for it!
Saw nick cave on thursday night , Just as well I checked the tickets and the addressas the gig wasnt in fact at the Brixton Academy as Fran had insisted but at The Apollo #Victoria Theatre. Anyway they were pretty good , though I was surprised how much is blad spot shone in the stage lights! and I dont like sitting down for a gig
but we got some good classic songs and not bad versions of the new ones.
Didnt do much friday daytime Then got ready to see Bauahus at the Brixton Acadmy. They were very good and had aged surprisingly well Daniel ash looks rather good.
They were onstage for a long time and we got lal the classics and Ziggy Satrdust, Telegram Sam and a good version of Transmission.
The venue was packed with lots of young n old goths and it took us awhile to get out then we go tsandwiches and the but home!
Back to nottingham on saturday. When I got back some of the money from the insurance had arrived so I went to pc world and got a new monitor and bigger speakers for my pc and an mp3 player which is great ive put loads of songs on it and theres still room for more, were do they all go?!
Saturday nigth we wnet out to Kyrogenis which was a fun night but a bit cold in there! anyway saw lots of poeple and got to dance a bit. Didnt stay til the ned coz of Fran's dad,s birthday do on the sunday.
Managed to get to Fran's parents on time on sunday . whilst waiting for them to load the car , Fran rather impressively fell over whilst standing still, not sure how she did that I guess gravity just gets to much some times!
Anyway the birthdya meal was good and in a nice old pub, I ate to much then spent the vening on my sofa watching tv!

Hope it goes well too! Am hideously underprepared but strangely not too stressed, such is the power of denial................
Saw Nick Cave at the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow on Sunday, was a good gig indeed! I too was disturbed by the shiny bald spot, and horrified by the scray chopper 'tash but as soon as he got going, all was forgiven!
Missed Bauhaus in Glasgow but hear it was ace. Was sold out by the time i went for tickets. HUMPH!
Take care toots,
