Got back from london last night and had a good weekend, slept in later than i meant to today though oops!
Got the train down to london on friday afertoon then went straight to camden and met Althea and got the boots I've been after they are very cool! got the shop person to throw out my swears for me so I didnt have to carry them around!. Had a quick drink with Althea then got the bus to Pekham to see Fran.
We went to see the Libertine , the new Johnny depp film on friday night. It was rather good very grimy n seedy tho it did go on a bit! and impressive use of special effects to make Johnny Depp look ugly, must have been cgi or something!
Saturday we went to Bring out your dead the deathrock alldayer! Felt a bit strange getting ready for a night out in the daytime but the weather was shit so it was still dark! Got there about 4ish and it was in quite a nice venue.
The first couple off bands were ok, The Vincet Razorbacks were great ,shame they wern't on later so more people could see them. The other were ok very Misfits when Glen Danzig was still with them. Then we had a break for chips and strawberry beer in the posh cafe downstairs!, The last days of Jesus were fun lead singer looking like a demented mime crossed with a morris dancer! which sounds shit but was fun to watch!
Devilish Presley were great as always but they didnt play Prick up your Ears, oh well will probably be seeing them again soon!
Bloody dead and Sexy were very good and they did a mad version of I wanna be your Dog and the end and got the other bands onstage with them!
Pyscochargers were funny not often you see three burly blokes onstage wearing only y-fronts and covered in fake blood! So yeah it was a good day was very tired and a bit drunk by the end! think the Vincent Razorbacks were my favaourate band of the day.
Have got some orders to work on this week and then will be back in london on friday for Frans birthday and Dead & Buried.
Then coming back to Nottingham sometime on saturday coz I'm doing a stall at Eye Candy next Sunday so anyone in the nottingham area come along and spend money and get your christmas pressies!
Anyone intrested in coming to Torture Garden on the 10th of december? its at scala which is right by kings cross station and goes from ten till six in the morinig!
Oh yeah and anyone else going to see the Horropops in Leicester on wednesday the 7th? looks like I'm going to be getting the train by myself and meeting people there.
