Things to ruminate on:
-----
Do we really know enough about the PlayStation 3 or the XBox 360 to judge either? I don't think so. All I can make at this point is snap judgements, like the fact that the PS3 controller looks like something Batman throws at bank robbers.
-----
Will George RR Martin produce a complete book here? Or is he spinning us?
Linky thing.
-----
How far can you go with flirting with a married girl and still be an honorable guy?
Is it as far as she wants to go? Or as far as he would want to let her go? Or some other value?
-----
Is what our government lies about now any better than the Nixon era?
-----
How nice do you have to be to a paying customer? At what point do you give it up and say "you're not worth the money?" What point do you do the same thing with your boss?
-----
Should people be allowed to escape their own pasts? Does society need a mechanism by which someone can change their name and start all over?
I think we do.
-----
That's a small sampling of what's been going through my head lately.
And few other, more personal matters. If I've discussed them with you, you already know what's up. If I haven't....
... you could ask.
