Finishing up a five-day stretch of not needing to set the alarm clock. (Two days of vacation time plus the holiday weekend.)
Best quote of the weekend: "We have to get food soon. I haven't had anything to eat today except Percocet."
I've been transfixed by that little case in Florida. I wonder how much my opinions on the issue are influenced by having watched my girlfriend in a coma, not sure if she was going to wake up, or if she'd be the same person if she did.
I'm cleaning my apartment, waiting for the crew to gather up in World of Warcraft so we can lay the hurt down on the Sunken Temple, listening to Medeski, Martin and Wood, and quietly lusting after that new handheld Playstation.
I'm going to go and visit Dogslife soon. Like in the next few weeks. (I'm hoping to roll with Ginny and Oryx in the process.) But don't tell him because I want it to be a surprise.
Update: Now I'm listening to Wu-Tang. Later it's probably going to be guitar porn.
Further update: Okay, now it's Maiden. I gotta admit - as much as I will never forgive the iPod for its horrific design flaw, I do love having my entire CD collection available on one simple 'shuffle' function.
Further further update: Now it's "Making Flippy Floppy" by the Talking Heads. Jesus - does music get any better?
PS: Giggity giggity giggity.

I see and hear nothing.

why a concert sounds like just the thing! And the Rivoli is a short walk from where I live. Do you think it will sell out or is it likely I'd be able to pay at thr door?
