Wednesday started off with a phone call from the girl's sister. Her family was trying to find her to let her know her grandmother had passed away during the night. She wasn't here, but they couldn't reach her at her place, so I had to break the news to her when I went to pick her up.
Later in the day I got the news that cancer has spread to my father's lungs.
At the risk of being all emo... given everything that I've been through since last summer or so... I honestly don't know if I handle any more bad news.

You'r tough though, SF! You can take it!
I'm sorry to hear about everything. I think I'm about to head where you've just been. My girlfriend's grandparents and aunt are ailing severely, and my father just got diagnosed with a tumor in his lung. Good luck to you and yours.
And so this isn't 100% touchy-feely: I've never been a Crue fan, but I'm now compelled to give their greatest hits a go. The last person who tried to turn me on to them was a Puerto Rican Hooters waitress who wanted to fight me after I said I was Jesus.
