This'll be the last post until after the move. The computer is probably going to come down soon, and the DSL account is nuked tomorrow. I'm a little depressed moving out of this place. Obviously, moving always sucks. But the new place isn't even fully renovated yet (even though my friends have done amazing work totally redoing the basement for me), which is disheartening, and I swear it gets smaller every time I visit. Now, it's sharing a house as opposed to having a small apartment, so in reality, I'll have more room to hanker around. But I'm still pretty sure that I'll spend most of my time in 'my section'. I hope I don't become 'the thing in the basement'.

And also, even though she's gone, this was our place. And I miss her a lot.

To be realistic, though, I was mortified by her new place when I first saw it, and she turned it into one of the nicest apartments I've ever been in. (She really does have a tremendous gift for design.) So I'm sure that once this place is all Flea-ed out, it's going to be das uberspiff. And it's in a part of town that's approximately a million billion times nicer than this particular corner of Hell's Kitchen.

Anyways - I'm off. Think good thoughts for me. A move always needs good vibes. I've got two guys helping out and a cargo van booked, so it should hopefully be the best of a gruelling situation.
