God DAMN it.
David Byrne is touring, but his only Canadian date right now seems to be Vancouver.
This is what it sounds like when doves cry.
Update: He also seems to be playing in Montreal. This doesn't do me a damn lick of good either.
Hopefully an Ontario date is TBA.
Further Update: There are, as of right now, actual good seats for the David Bowie concert in London next Friday. I just bought tickets. Floor seats. This may mean I might miss Prom. Maybe. Possibly. But it's David Fucking Bowie, people. Y'all unnerstand.

I saw David Byrne a couple of years back. The outpouring of love for that man in that concert hall (the concert happened four days after that certain 2001 infamous date) was astounding.
David Byrne could not perform for a good ten minutes after every song due to the amount of applause and cheering. They continuously brought up the houselights, and he just stood there, astounded.
He is a brilliant performer. I was incredibly fortunate to have seen him perform. Everyone should see him once. The Talking Heads. The frontman for the Talking Heads. Need I say more?
