The gf had her first day at the super-spiffy new job, and seemed to dig it. Plus, she now works just a short walk from my office, so I can bring her lunch, which is always nice.
At least, it would be, if she actually waited for me instead of having KFC instead
I wound up with two extra orders of Chicken Korma from the spiffy Indian place (I got one for one of her co-workers, who also started today, and came over from her last job with her) sitting on my desk for the afternoon.
I tried to eat a second one (they're just the lunch servings after all, and I was hungry after hitting the gym), but people... it was just... too... much...
I was defeated.
I brought the last one home for her for dinner, but I think being nukerowaved didn't really agree with it.
Alas.
I'm tempted to kick up the gym to 5 times a week. I've been going long enough that I've started seeing some noticeable results (more noticeable, I'll grant, if you happen to spend every day in the body), and I think it's been the kick I need to really get into the shape I want. I recently saw a pretty inspiring website featuring an out of shape chap who decided to completely turn his health habits around, and showcased daily pics covering his transformation into a completely buff hombre. I don't know that my goals are that radical, but it's tremendously inspiring to see somebody affect that substantial a change in their life through sheer willpower.
I don't want to sound as though I'm hung up on a particular body image as being the 'right' or 'best' one. I just know where I want to be for me to be most happy with that sexy cat in the mirror.
I also am probably going to get some ear piercings (finally - I've wanted them forever) to commemmorate the end of the project I'm on. It's as good an excuse as any. So I'm all about customizing the body lately. I've never been a tattoo person, so that isn't in the cards for me, but I'm curious what I might look like in a year if I can keep up this momentum.
Anyways - I should probably head towards sleep. I hope you all had a happy Monday.

Ear piercings are GREAT on the right guy. Go for it - then head to the strip club to celebrate some more!!
(By the way, the "Hair" story is cool. I learn more interesting things about you with each post!)
