Wow. Nice and toasty on two pints. Don't you love it when one of those evenings where you just don't want to leave the apartment because it's raining and it's the end of the work week and you just feel like crap and you only agree to go out because one of your friends just insists and insists and won't let it drop and it just turns into a really cool evening and you get a couple of friends together and you drink and chat and drink and chat and that horrible cover band is playing at the bar down the road and you don't have to put up with them because you're at that little pub up the road and that jackass behind you keeps pushing into you and singing Stones songs off-key and far too loud but you don't mind because you're with friends and just having a really good time?
I do.
Run-on sentences are fun, too.
For anybody keeping track of the saga of the iPod, I finished the first round of Zappa tonight, and now I'm onto the unfiled stuff. Hopefully by the end of the weekend, I'll have the whole shooting match on.
Every once in a while, you're just blissfully aware of how cool life is. This is one of those moments.

yes, there are times when life gives you a big "hello" and shines down on you, and you're sitting there beaming and nothing in the world will tear that apart.
whether it be hanging out with friends, engaging in a hobby you love, or eating really good food, sometimes the bastards really can't get you down.
