You know, as I was panicking to catalogue my skills and qualifications in a frenzied rush to find new work (and convince my nagging insecurities that I am in fact employable), I forgot two of the most important.
I write a great cover letter, and I give a great interview.
One interview down, with a followup on the horizon this week. Los fucking Angeles, people.
Some interesting people have my resum right now, and a company in the GTA is nibbling on it. Staying in this part of the country would be good for a lot of reasons. Being able to stay in the area while working in Toronto would be extremely cool for lots of other reasons.
But that said, looks like there might be some really exciting opportunities in a lot of cool places. Who knows where they'll take me?

Well, aside from their crappy public transit system. If they actually had a decent subway layout, I'd be there in a heartbeat. It's so beautiful, and you have everything you want - city, ocean, mountains, desert - all within an hour's drive from each other.
