I still say they should have classes for people transplanted into the North from the South..especially Florida. When I moved here I was told I didn't need snow tires or to buy a snow shovel. Two and a half years later we're hit with the worst snowstorm in a decade and I don't have a snow shovel to dig my car out and I'm slipping and sliding all over the roads because I only have "all weather" tires. Plus the whole snow pants and snow boots thing. What are they and where do you get them? After tramping in two feet of snow all day my jeans were soaked and freezing. I don't mind the cold as long as I'm prepared for it. I'm not prepared. Where's the manual? Huh!?
