The only explanation for tonight is that Wil and Pat are not actually human beings, but atomic powered androids build expressly for the purpose of rocking Broken City to the floor boards. The opening band, The Killer Vees, were very excellent and had a xylophone in a couple of songs!

Well, Seattle got cancelled because we couldn't get a rental car, but I'm not that upset because I'm pretty sure we couldn't drive there and back in a weekend. At least not while still having time to do more than just turn around.

Well, Seattle isn't a go just yet, and I'm not totally sure it will be, but thanks for the kind words. I'm not sure if one can actually drive from up here in Calgary all the way to Seattle and back in a two and a half days and still have time do do something beyond just driving. But we'll see.

I may be going on a road trip to Seattle this weekend! Sounds exciting and potentially fatal, which is warming on this blustery post-winter days.

I saw a homeless man stomp on a tiny bird today while I was going for lunch. I later saw the bird shivering on the curb, and I was pretty sure that it would die, even though I couldn't see any blood. It made me very sad.

I'm totally swamped all of the sudden. The gauntlet has given me a ton of shit I need to do that day, one of them starting at 7:30. Plus proofreading before that! Gah! Normally it wouldn't be such a big deal, but I really need some stuff in print for next weeks issue so I can put it in my portfolio for my application to Ryerson.
