Usually I'm completely against piracy in all it's forms, but Jen's pirate-themed birthday celebrations were proper bo. Getting drunk with yout mates whilst swinging plastic swords around will always be fun, as is inhaling a balloon's worth of helium and shrieking "Wootini" in your best Jawa impression. 10 Astro Belts at once is the true mark of a man. Eye patches are annoying. The trip to the Cathouse was gloriously surreal and huge fun, with Rachel's parrot costume taking the Surreal Biscuit(TM McVities). That's right, she was dressed as a parrot. Awesome.
Only picture I got was this one:
As you can see Dunc was in full Jack Sparrow mode. Vinnie is without costume but worthy of note, as he had travelled to the party from the future on a mission to ensure his conception, however the mission was not going well so as he was slowly erased from history he began to disappear Marty McFly style, and as you can see from the photo his pint-hand was first to go.
Also, NIN gig was stomping. Not quite as face-melting as their last Glasgow gig, but hearing "Mr Self Destruct", "Last" and "We're In This Together" in a row live was worth the ticket price alone. Very excited about the new album, particularly after the intriguing and slightly frightening trailer. Mommmeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!
