"I got my arms in flip flop flip flop flip
I got my head on a spring"
"Getting Smaller" - Nine Inch Nails
Panic panic panic. Of all the things to wake up to I think the sound of your girlfriend screaming in terror from another room must be one of the worst. And of the million terrible scenarios that ran through my head in that moment it was a huge relief to find she'd just slipped on her arse in the shower. Nothing broken, panic over.
The day got better after that, Doctor is referring me for a test to get to the bottom of my stomach problems so it'll be nice to find out exactly what it is (or isn't more to the point), and then I went to see Deja Vu, which was a wonderfully thrilling movie, the Tony Scott/Denzel Washington partnership proves once again to be a great one, check it oot and all that.
Got the spare room gutted so finally have that music room I've been thinking about since we moved in here. So now I have the 16 track set up in a lovely little space decorated with inspirational pictures (Tool, Martin Grech, Jessica Alba, Mono, Jessica Alba, Tarantino, Jessica freaking Alba) and celebrated by mixing some stuff which all sounds very lovely.
Officially finished all xmas shopping, drank some fizzy pop, transformed into a superhero clown and signed up as a Psycopathic Records recording artist and then realised I'd written a humungous journal entry. Parts of that are true.
Later alligators.
