"If you're still making records without your pain
Then you're still making records that sound the same"
"Shave Your Head" - Rico
Ooooh, I feel fuzzy inside today! The band's debut single is now out, it's a limited edition white label 7" and it feels strange to hold it in my hand. That's all I can really do with it as I don't have a record player, but taking it out the sleeve and looking at it's shiny black vinyl goodness makes me do a smile. It's pretty exciting to finally have something like that out there, and at the very least we've now got something cool and collectable that we can sell at gigs. The CD will be the main event obviously, but after working really hard on that song it's good that it's on such an esteemed format as the old 7". Nice.
Otherwise things are okay, although Amy was really ill last night and it scared the be-jeebus out of me. It seems to have just been a really intense and short lived flu but the way she was shaking and sweating had me fearing it was something bizarre and terrible. Had never seen her like that and with her being my Bea-bear it was fairly upsetting. She feels a lot better today though which is good as we're going to see Billy Talent again tonight which is always a good night of rock entertainment.
Oh, and I finished Silent Hill 4 so I no longer have to live in fear of it. It got pretty dull and frustrating towards the end anyway, but that first stretch disturbed me right in the face.
Twice.
