Wow....so it's been a while since I've been around. I am happy to say, however, that I've crawled out of the dark ages and I finally have internet access at my house. It was a long week, to say the least. Things were slow at the nightclub this weekend, people were recovering from St. Patty's day, I suppose. There was a big cycling race Saturday night that required the City of Orlando to block off all the good streets downtown, including where I usually park. I got caught in the swarm of cars and in addition to rolling into work 40 minutes late, I had to park a ridiculous distance from my job. I hopped a pedi-cab and he dropped me off at the entrance like some kind of cheap royalty. That was just the beginning of my nightmare.....
After work I returned to fetch my car, which was locked in the garage I parked it in. It remained there for 2 days (till early Monday morning when the garage reopened.) I had to walk home in the wee hours of Sunday morning wearing the skimpy ensemble I'd worn to work just hours before. It's not a fun walk either (about a 1 1/2 miles), and I'm lazy.... But I made the walk 2 more times to check on the status of my car. To top it off, they charged me $20 to get my car back. Needless to say, I was pissed.
But alas, it's Thursday, and I have to work this evening. Last night was my bro's 21st birthday....more on that later.
