I had the pleasure of seeing The Bad Plus last night. This is one of the finest bands to ever come around the pike. All the guys are insanely good. If anyone wants to see jazz's true potential, pick up their debut lp, These Are The Vistas. You won't be sorry. But to be honest, this band is so good, the record has NOTHING over their shows. Their shows are the best way to see them. These guys play so well and have so much fun doing it, which too few bands do nowadays. It was a real treat. Go listen to them!
