All I wonder as I sit here. Is there another one inside? Trying hard to keep my cool - I sit and I ponder and stutter and stall.
Then the girl came out. She was struggling for air. I saw her glance at me as I shyed away. I would never have known this girl if not for then. Her hair, damaged and unattented. Her face calm yet stoic. Her body frail, seen a lot of abuse. But she had a glint in her eye I will never forget.
She headed inside the car and drove away. I sat there barely breathing wondering what else could have happened. And then I got myself back up and began to walk away forever changed, but not sure why.

Yeah, see what happened was bean, Shalome and I were outside smoking, and bean adjusted his beanie (haha) with the hand that was holding his clove cigarette. Then he felt a burning sensation on his head, hence my poor joke about refried beans. I wasn't kidding when I said I got nothin!
