Yep... i'm sure all this hard work will eventually pay off... it's just pretty difficult to juggle my personal life and business stuff all at the same time...
i was completely overwhelmed by nature yesterday. it was a magnificent day. unfortunately it looks like we have some cold, nasty rainy days now. oh well.
emily and i spent a good chunk yesterday on top of a mountain admiring the view and smoking a perfect joint. it was marvelous. memories such as these are amoung my most precious.
My friend and I drove out of town through the rain, taking pictures of the storm clouds on the way to another friend's house. We rocked out to some of her CDs and laughed and smiled throughout the trip, even though we missed two interchanges. In a row.
ThanX... i just think i should try and do something... he's always putting himself in harms way for others and never gets anything but a small paycheck and a little pat on the back...
awaken me at gunpoint. i'll be ready. who can catch a fly the quickest? work me up a storm to rest my bones. kick me down, drag me along. over and under passing through. you don't have the guts to make me sick enough.
ha! i've got you in a bag all to myself and every once in a while you might see the sky,... Read More
just tiptoe to the most serene of the seasons. take that step into autumn and woosh your feet through the leaves and high up in the tree from whence the leaves came is where i'll be. sitting atop a tree alive amoung flurries of leaves tasting the ground for the first and... Read More
Something funny: http://suicidegirls.com/members/Shalome/515498/ (I'd post it here but she's one of my coworkers and I'm too lazy to sum it up since she did already. Besides that, it's kind of amazing more than funny, but still humorous none the less.)
How am I doing? Honestly, my emotions are all out of wack and I'm working on getting them in order. I'm supposed to go to band practice this Sunday but I don't know if we're gonna accomplish much.
How's about something funny happening to you recently?
i've been pretty good... finally graduated from college and am now part of the working... ummm actually slacking world... but i am working on my business plan so thats good... how are you and emily doing?
The time has come for me to leave, for good I think. Tomorrow I move to Deland, FL to live with Emily. I am more excited than I think I have ever been for anything. Emily compliments my life in the best way. She reminds me of how incredible life is, every day.
I had the pleasure of seeing The Bad Plus last night. This is one of the finest bands to ever come around the pike. All the guys are insanely good. If anyone wants to see jazz's true potential, pick up their debut lp, These Are The Vistas. You won't be sorry. But to be honest, this band is so good, the record has NOTHING over... Read More

Well, to be honest, the last few days I have been listening to Genesis "Abacab" and The Police "Outlandos d'Amour" as well as tying a connection between underappreciated Can and Funkadelic. A lot of times my listening sessions are completely eclectic and other times I may sit down and listen to every album a band has made (I do that with Sonic Youth quite a... Read More
Copious amounts of credit due to my wicked ass girlfriend.
Today, Emily found us the PERFECT apartment. Old Spanish-style Stucco building. Hardwood floors, five big rooms with windows on every wall. Tons of light peering in.
Cost? $425 a month. HA! Incredible, and because it is privately owned, we don't have to lay down first and last month's rent.
Of *course* you would know Mori. You never cease to amaze me. Funny that I've never heard her stuff with Kim Gordon.
re. Living situation...um...I've only had good times in a place for a couple months at a time and then it all crashes...thinking...yeah, they've all kind of sucked.
I bought Schneider Tm's Moist recently. It's subtly amazing. It's pretty much a house endeavor...but very German.
Both you *and* clovesbud will hate me, but I go CD...all the way. But I only do it because I didn't have a turntable for years upon years...and convenience. I was also sooooo opposed to MP3's until I started DJing and realized I could pack 2000 tracks on my laptop or 50-60 records.
If I could, I would do all vinyl, but I'm weak...that's why I'm not a vegetarian too haha.
Um...unsure on the gear question. Ask Clovesbud and tell him I sent you He has a portable turntable! He's all vinyl...I mean *all*.
"he's kind of a jack of all...black market operations"

"Thanks Meatwad. Is it a birdfeeder?
No Frylocke, those are those wrap-around sunglasses you said you wanted
Oh thanks, I'll put 'em on later
No put 'em on now
Hahaha. Put those up in the attic along with all the other stuff he gave you...right next to your bark-shoes"
