okay first off... making a new journal entry...
click on update in the top right corner of the screen... under your screen name and next to requests... then you will go to the page where you can edit your profile, update your journal and add a profile pic... next to where you add a profile pic there is a section titled... UPDATE AND EDIT YOUR JOURNAL type in the text box and hit SAVE ENTRY... then you have a new journal entry... if you ever want to edit a journal entry you have already made do the same thing but click on the date of the journal entry you want to edit on the right hand side and you can edit what is already there...always remember to hit SAVE ENTRY when done and it brings you back to your page...
in order to upload a profile pic...
you need to save a picture of yourself on your desktop... in some sort of picture editing program you need to make sure your picture is
* JPG (.jpg) or GIF (.gif) format
* 235px wide by 175 px high
* no larger than 100kB.
then you go to the update page again and this time find the section titled CHANGE YOUR PICTURE on the top left hand side... click on the browse button and find the file of the picture you want to upload... then hit CHANGE PIC and your picture should be in place of the SG logo...
in order to upload pictures to a folder...
click on the PICS tab above your journal entry... there are 2 sections... CREATE A FOLDER and ADD A PIC... first you must create a folder... type in the folder name and description you want... the click ADD PHOTOSET... then you go to the ADD A PIC section and once again browse your desktop for the picture you want to upload... once you have found that you may put a caption you want to have under the picture when people view it... once you have done that you use the scroll bar to choose what folder you want it to go in (this will only matter once you have more than one folder) and click ADD PIC... the page will refresh and you should see your pic above the ADD A PIC and CREATE A FOLDER sections... then you can keep going...
in order to choose your favorite suicide girls and have their pictures across the top of your page...
once again go to the update page and use the scroll bars under where you update your journal to choose your favorite girls... then click SAVE FAVORITE GIRLS and you are done...
in order to upload a picture to your journal...
this one is the trickiest it took me forever to figure it out...
you will need to have 2 browser windows open for this one... just in case you dont know how to do that i'll tell you... right click on a link on the page you are on and go to open in a new window...then one window will need to be on the update page... and the other browser will need to be on a picture hoasting page i use
tiny pic... type what you want to in your journal until you are ready to upload a picture into it... then you go to the hoasting sinte and upload your picture by clicking browse and choosing the file... after you have uploaded the picture copy the URL address... go back to your journal page and click on IMAGE next to the smiley faces and past the URL in the box that pops up... when you save your journal your picture should be in it...
if you want to request someones friendship...
go to their page and click on ADD ME AS A FRIEND under their profile picture and a request will be sent to them... after they have accepted it their name will come up on your friends list... before they have approved your friendship you can see your pending friendship requests on your update page...
if someone has requested your friendship you will see 1 request under your name in the top right corner... click on the #1 (or 2 or 3 etc. depending on how many friendship requests you have) and it will take you to your update page... under where you choose your favorite suicide girls you will see a picture of the person requesting your friendship (you can also link to their profile from there to check them out)... you can either approve or decline there request there...
