I wanted to say, I Proudly voted for Harris!!!
Here's the only meme I've ever made...
I strongly believe that using religion to justify anything is a problem.
When they start by going after women's autonomy over their own bodies, it's a slippery slope.....
The things I've been seeing and hearing over the past 9 years have triggered me to share this poem about 9 times, but never with so much fear as in the past month .
First they came for the Communists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a communist
Then they came for the Socialists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Socialist
Then they came for the trade unionists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a trade unionist
Then they came for the Jews
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Jew
Then they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me
"First they came ..." (German: Zuerst kamen sie ...) is the poetic form of a 1946 post-war confessional prose by the German Lutheran pastor MARTIN NIEMÖLLER (1892–1984). It is about the silence of German Intellectuals and clergy—including, by his own admission, Niemöller himself—following the Nazi's rise to power and subsequent incremental purging of their chosen targets, group after group. Many variations and adaptations in the spirit of the original have been published in the English language. It deals with themes of persecution, guilt, repentance, solidarity, and personal responsibility.
If you're undecided, Please take the time to go out and vote Harris.
