ONE WEEK UNTIL I LEAVE FOR MY 6TH YEAR TOUR MANAGING SG BLACKHEART BURLESQUE <3 I can't believe it has been 6 years of traveling for 3 months at a time with the most amazing team of babes anyone could ever ask to be a part of.
I am so grateful to @sean and @missy for trusting me with this amazing job <3 I am looking forward to making even more memories and getting to know everyone even more this time around. :)
I've been bad at blogging since I started touring, but I thought I would take a minute to say hi and give you a little update on how I spent my summer this year before I hit the road, again.
If you are in the US, you should come out and see the show, it's amazing
For the first time since the 2013 kickoff, the burlesque tour is touring the USA, not once, but twice, in one year.
This meant I only had 3 of the last 9 months off to spend with my family, and friends and to shoot new pictures... this meant I had to go to Florida, Ohio, NY, California and Oregon in the 3 months I had off. I had to shoot sets and ideas so I would feel creatively satisfied. I needed to meet with designers and hire babes to grow my business so I'd feel personally content.
Basically, I wanted to have my cake and eat it too and i definitely made my time count :) Here's the highlights:
Starting with the 9 sets I shot for SuicideGirls :) (I also shot 6 hopefuls, I'll get to that. ) :)

Came home from the Blackheart Burlesque tour in mid May and immediately got to shoot 3 sets at the SG house before I left. <3

I had also shot @sophoulla right before I left for tour (but little to no time on tour means I just prepped it :)
I got to spend some time hanging out in the hottub with them after our shoots too :) The SG house is indeed heaven :)
After this I flew directly to Florida for my nieces 3rd birthday :)
Used my camera to shoot something other than naked girls for like the 4th time ever ;)
Next I flew to Ohio to be reunited with my love and my fur baby and we drove to NY for an art show of my photography on glass at the amazing Long Island Glass. It was the launch of the project which I am over the moon about :)
In case you didn't know, I grew up in NY but my family has all recently migrated to Florida in the last 5 years...all except for a few cousins, who I got to see while I was there. :)
While on Long Island, I finally shot @azalea I recruited this gorgeous babe in NY years before she finally took my card out of her wallet and emailed me and became an SG. This is the first time we got to shoot together.
The set will be submitted this week <3 and I loooooove it and her. :)
In NY, I got to kick off a project with Long Island Glass. They have developed a process to put photos on glass and you can now get the images of your favorite tattoo models shot by me on bongs and rigs and pendants and more. :)
Here's a pendant of Sophoulla that sold the night of the show. All pieces are one of a kind art but if you'd like to commission a similar piece let me know :)
All pieces come with the print that the glass was created from.

Of course Zen was welcome at my art show at Long Island Glass Gallery. I am so so so grateful to all of the glass shops and air bnbs and hotels that are dog friendly!

Zen got pretty tired from all the fun and spent the end of the night sitting in the vip area like a gargoyle.
The amazing Tammy Baller even did a live demo at the event to really make it a girl power event. She's amazing.
A million thanks to @wicked for coming to town all the way from Boston to be my assistant for the week, I seriously could not have done it without you <3 <3 <3
I also got to shoot a set of her while we there. For SuicideGirls and some weed pinups for 420 Pinups :)

After an amazing 10 days in NY, we started heading out to the west coast, we wanted to drive coast to coast this summer.......along the way we stopped in Pennsylvania.
I got tattooed by the amazing Brian Geckle . Note Zen (always at my side). :)
I finally said goodbye to my very first tattoo. 26 years later ;)
this new tattoo has resulted in me taking my clothes off even more than I used to as you'll see in this blog :)
Then we stopped in Ohio to visit family and do some kayaking with friends.
then I made a quick flight back to Florida for a few weeks for my sister's 40th birthday.
While I was there, I had @lego and @torie help me organize a little get together with the SG Florida crew (these guys are truly my home crew, I love the Florida girls so much).
this was the day i learned that my iPhone has a timer ;)
While I was in Florida, I also hosted a SuicideGirls / 420 Pinup shootfest in St. Pete with 18 girls.

After I flew back to Ohio we continued our drive from Ohio to California via Denver.

But regardless,
Finally we made it out west and I spent time on the coast in California
Drove north to Oregon to spend some time renewing my soul
Did a little weed garden shootfest in Eugene with my loves @circa , Dani, Jamie, Heather, and Clover
And finally came back to Santa Cruz to finish getting organized and recharging before another 3 months on the tour bus with Blackheart Burlesque.
I hope to see so many of you out at the shows. The road gets pretty lonely and it really helps when you all come out and visit and keep our energy and spirits up. :)
