SUICIDEGIRLS BLACKHEART BURLESQUE IS HIRING for multiple Tour Assistant/DJ positions for the USA Spring Tour 2018 (March 1-May 13) WWW.BLACKHEARTBURLESQUE.COM- (additional show dates still being added).
We are looking for SuicideGirls or SG Hopefuls to travel the USA with us spring 2018 and assist with tour.
Multiple positions are available- positions range from 2 weeks-5 weeks. Pay is $500/week plus travel to and from tour, 2 meals per show day, daily travel on tour bus with the tour, lodging each night (either on the tour bus or in a hotel, depending on night), as well the experience of a lifetime :)
About the job:
Tour assistant/DJ position is a tour internship (with pay, travel and tons of perks). You will get a chance to learn a little about a lot of different tour jobs. If you are the right, hard-working person, it could be one of the best experiences of your life.
Job Duties include BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
*Help with load and unload of the tour bus for each show with crew. Help carry merch, costume cases, and props into venue from tour bus and back again after the show.
*Assist the Merch coordinator with merch set up and break down of merch booth and merch sales at peak times of the night
*Control music during run through and talk to opening act about lights and sound and transitions
*Control the music for a DJ set on stage one hour prior to Blackheart Burlesque show
*Control Music for opening act prior to Blackheart Burlesque show
*Control music for the Blackheart Burlesque show (on stage)
*Coordinate meals. Find food and order meals on show days twice a day- take suggestions from the girls, give options, get feedback, find food, order food, make reservations, pick up food, verify it is marked with names and correct.
*Help keep bus clean: straighten, wipe down surfaces with antibacterial wipes, keep fridge cleaned and organized and meals dated, empty bathroom trash into main trash for driver to take out, help with laundry days.
*Social media: Help film or post on the SG social media accounts when asked
*Runner: run errands on show days if needed
*Help us put on the best show possible

Being on the road is hard work but can be fun and really fulfilling; it means having a very flexible sleep schedule, unpredictable showers, no personal space, being woken up when you're tired.....BUT it also means lots of cuddles, meeting and entertaining amazing people (like local SGs, members and fans), signing autographs and doing public appearances, getting amazing opportunities, seeing new places (possibly only for a brief time) and getting experience in some serious tour jobs that could become your career.
