Hello SG land. It's been a WHILE since I blogged so I thought I would check in and say Hello. <3 Time sure flies by these days. How have you all been? The nomad life has taken over every piece of my old life and these days I can't even remember what it was like to live in my own house...but oh the adventures, and the ability to say yes to any opportunity that comes you way regardless of your location has been amazing. Every once in a while I start to want to grow roots and then I remember stuff like this:
And this:
Zen can't drive yet but we're working on it :) it sure would make van life easier! :)
And then I just keep taking it one month a time to follow the road less traveled and 'the years are flowing by like days'
For sure, being the tour manager for Blackheart Burlesque has definitely made living on the road even easier for and somehow more worth it, I've traveled with SG anywhere from 2-4 months a year for the last 4 years so it left less time to be on the road in my van and just made the transition easier. :)
I am so grateful for these 4 years, 5 countries, 100 of friends made and 1000s of friends visited. I haven't even started to process it, I'm still living it I guess :) <3
It used to feel like I was away from home when I went on tour but after 4 years of traveling, It feels like I am at home when I am on tour!
By the way, the ladies at the office are busy booking a 2018 Spring US tour. You should definitely catch a show in your city. I highly recommend the pre show meet and greet hour :)
It's worth the 'behind' the scenes look ;) and a ton of fun to meet all of the girls. lol. ;)
I returned home from the last SG burlesque tour in June and got to hang out at "The SG house" for a few days.
I always plan to shoot on tour but can never find the time so before I left LA I found the time to shoot at least a few girls, although I'm dying to shoot them all even more ;)
Much love to the beautiful and sweetest babe around @sunny
the gorgeous, free spirited sister @penelopppe
and my British lovee, one of my favorite partners in stonerhood @lucerne for 420 Pinups (my favorite thing to shoot when I'm not shooting for SG ;)
I've been up and down the west coast with my little family from Washington to Arizona and everywhere in between every since I left LA. :)
Here' a recap of the highlights of my nomad summer and fall. I can't believe 6 months has gone by!
I got to experience totality during the eclipse which was far more epic than I had even imaged it would be.
Looking back on my life, there are very few moments that felt as significant as this one did at the time. And then it was time to move on.... as is the van life and then a month later you wonder if it even happened or if you'd remember it if you didn't photograph or blog it.
But like I said, you don't have time to think about it.
Spent some time on the coast of Oregon this year and worked on some projects that were outside of my usual Inked Girls style, but had a blast. :)
I worked with one of my best friends, the glass artist Buck, to throw his Intrinsic Show at the North Warehouse. We had over 1000 people show up to view the glass art which included his 20x10 foot marlin chasing a bait ball that took him years to make. It was the biggest event Ive ever organized and I'm proud and grateful to be a part of something so historic.
You can see his work on instagram at @buckglass or his website at Glass Rivers to have your mind blown by art and engineering.
The Butterfly Ninja, possibly my favorite, a functional removable cat swatting at butterfly chandelier
another favorite of mine was a collab with Ravidas. The Eclipse Angler Anyway, pretty much since then I've suited up and been mushrooming by the ocean in Oregon ever since ;) Suited up in rain gear that is ;)
Found and cooked chanterelle recipes for over a week.
I somehow also found time to make the journey to Hell City tattoo fest in Arizona and got to be reunited with the Hell City tattoo family for some fun in the Phoenix sun!
@durb gave Adam a glass blowing spot to do some demos and we made the trip down for my 11th year of Hell City Tattoo Fest
I also went to reunite with 2 of my SG besties <3 We've been friends for full a decade now. @sawa and @luscious
the three of us have been meeting up for girlfriends trips and having little adventures together forever.

Always looking forward to our next adventure. :) So grateful to SG for bringing us together! Ok, back to the summer fall recap before winter starts :D
This year, I also got to spend a month or two in Eugene OR playing in endless rivers and having a blast with some awesome people <3
Visited one of my favorite spots of Santa Cruz and the nor cal coast a bunch of times
And journeyed enjoyed life with my family that I miss so much while on tour.
