Last night they brought me a deer hoof that looked freshly removed! It wasn't too awesome (probably not for the deer either), or maybe they found it already gone from a fight with a bear or mountain lion.... either way, it was pretty gross and definitely a first for Zen. And definitely an indication of how different my life is now

But Zen is definitely liking it out here.

Here are some highlights from the trip out here!

My little sister, Yankee flew in from our hometown in New York to meet us in Phoenix, Arizona for a couple nights (and then go to San Diego with us).

We stayed at the home of HELL CITY in Phoenix, The amazingly beautiful, Arizona Biltmore!!
apparently, they replace tattoos with cars, sometimes.



it was beyond rad to have my 85 pound dog at one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at.

She will definitely be back for Hell City 2013!!!

then it was on to SAN DIEGO, where my parents flew in from NY and met up with me, Killer47 and Yankee.

I went home to NY to visit in November, for thanksgiving, but it was so awesome to see my whole family one more time before I got all the way out to California.


it was my first time in San Diego since I was about 7 years old.

I can't say enough about this lady. She flew from Austria to NY to shoot with Alissa last July! Just a rad, sweet, independent lady, that I would LOVE to see go pink!

She asked me to do some extra photos for her bf so that's why there are so many

I am loving shooting and have so many plans for future shoots and travel...I just can't wait to get started.

And I am starting to feel ready to start shooting for SG!!!!! I am so excited to shoot my first sets and to start discovering some new SGs in my new area I'll be at the SG shootfest in April....
