I got my septum pierced! This makes my 15th piercing (but certainly not my last ; ) I got it done at Infinite on 4th and South Street in Philadelphia, and if you're ever looking to get pierced in Philadelphia, I wouldn't recommend anywhere else.
Honestly I never thought about getting my septum done until I saw a set on SG where the girl had one and it was just so cute. The thought occurred to me that maybe I could rock one and I decided it was a go. I feel like it's the right piercing for my life right now. It's cute and sassy, easily concealable, but also pushing the envelope of what people consider tasteful in today's society. All reactions so far have been positive and, of course, "omg didn't that hurt?!?!?!" It was def not as bad as I was expecting, lining up the needle and receptor hurt more than the actual piercing.
I don't want to put a ring in it, and I don't want to stretch it, I just like the simple steel retainer. So far, this piercing is making me very happy
