Sounds fun, I've only been up there once, I was really tiny though. As hard as that is to imagine lol.

trillians rock club is okay- thats just off northumberland some times has zombie nights

legends-another rock club near the monument-quite good

head of steam-some good live music and okay atmosphere- near central station

the carling academy has a rock night on friday nights so thats always good

other rooms, digital and cosmic ball room are all okay electro clubs

the clooney in byker is great but its slightly outside newcastle, it has a great atmosphere and is kind good for the morning after hair of the dog

the telegraph behind central station is okay too
