I will be forever in a state of contemplation, you know.

Unless! they invent and program some machine to think for me... and then I would never have a thought of my own because the mothership would only let me (and everyone else) think what she's thinking....

And she's thinking this smiley picture right here - puke - is quite disturbing.

When I was a teenager I thought the same way. Here is my advice: Find a way to live on the edge. Do some really dangerous things for a while since you know that you'll eventually die anyways.

I didn't die and I feel a lot better now.

I hate the barfing smiley too.

Thank goodness for the people next door and their bright idea to strip AND rebuild their deck.
Yes, a marvelous idea to start right on that at 7 in the morning!
Bastards.
And I don't even have a cigarette to go outside and stare them down while smoking.
..::big sigh::..
I can't be vicious and intimidating without one.

But, I think....I think I think I...

Roark, I think. There is nobody in the history of real-life or literature that kicked as much ass, internally and externally, than Howard Roark. He left every one of his enemies inn complete shambles. He put his foot up so many asses, I almost crapped my pants.

Galt delivered a better Rand thesis, though. You'll get there in Atlas Shrugged. Tell me what you think.

Roark is the precurser to the egoists in Atlas Shrugged. Rand was still toying with her mantra a little in The Fountianhead. She had all her ducks in a row when she set out to write her masterpiece, Atlas Shrugged. For some reason, Roark seems stronger to me than Rearden, although Rearden is the final version of Rand's vision. Hmm...

I need to re-read them both, as it has been over a year. I bet you and I can ramble on for hours once I've read up on my Rand a little more.

I have to finish Stephen King's "It" first though. Heh heh.

So what's your god-given talent you spoke of in your last post? If you tell me yours, I'll tell you mine...

whatever

You seem so...unfullfilled with life.

What's wrong???

Today was eventful yet unproductive.
::Sigh::
It's funny at work when the old men ask me questions.
How ridiculously charming they are questioning me about boys.

How hollow could one possibly feel to know that something you were graced with; nothing earned by your greatness, will be the only thing to receive acknowledgement from society.

It doesn't leave you with much motivation to pursue anything...

I heard the same thing about TOOL's new album, out end of 2004. Maynard is done with his APC comments and was suppose to be hitting the studio in June. If he did we don't know yet.

I almost went and saw APC in Nashville. Can't remember why I didn't go, but I am mad at myself for not going. I will be at the next one of TOOL's or APC.
thejosh:
I read somewhere that APC will be back for a third album. If you notice the first two have had completely different sounds and the third is suppose to be no different bring a completely new sound to APC.

The none Maynard part of APC has already started writing for their third album. With a TOOL album at the end 2004 to early 2005 and then TOOL touring through most of 2005. Of course we won't see that album till mid to late 2006. Of course APC could do there third album without Maynard, but that would be professional suicide, so it isn't likely to happen.

As long as I have the TOOL album coming relatively soon I can wait. And then their are the other albums I am looking forward to this year: AC/DC, Billy Corgan, Chevelle and maybe Deftones (they have been in the studio since Jan) by the end of the year. I am giddy as well. smile

I don't think I could ever get enough alone time.
Being alone at home all day is wonderful.
I like the quiet.
I like that I only hear my thoughts and no ones senseless chatter about unimportant things to me.
If it could be like this everday, I would be in heaven... or wind up with dementia from lack of social contact.
However, I don't...

The thing is that after a while you do get enough alone time if you really REALLY isolate yourself...or so that has been my experience.

Too bad it had to end this morning, and too bad he's going to be 4 hours late to work.

I work too much.
From now on, days off = phone turned off.

So, distance is a bad thing. And distance over time doesn't give me velocity- it gives me way too much time to think and be content without my boyfriend.
I feel bad.
Maybe he just doesn't realize that I'm incurably miserable and am destined to live a lonely life.

have you ever sat next to someone; someone who you've known forever or someone you know or even someone you didn't know, and were not able to hold a minutes worth of conversation? And so you both sit there in that silence, trying to think of what you used to talk about before. As you skim through all the important topics to talk about, you've...

I think my hips broken, and my knee.
Oh the agony of being in a car wreck.
-Big Sigh-
I'm thinking I'll dive into a subconscious state of mind via illegal substances this weekend.
That should be fun, atleast I won't sit around feeling useless. (obviously, b/c I won't realize it)
I don't like uselessness. I'm rather excited to get back to school.

Yeah... so on my way to wonderful work, some lady, in a tan Saturn, pulled right in front of me, and I hit her.
Her back passenger door came off.
I was kinda mad, but I didn't have to work, so that was a plus. However, my little shitty-sentra is destroyed (again, I wrecked it 8 days too early for my yearly "crash" anniversary)
