Well.... I've had an erm... interesting week. I have managed to totally incapacitate myself. Good oh.

I got the lovely Samppa of Mad Max Tattoo to do this using a method called diathermy branding, where electricity rather than heat burns away the flesh.

It was a totally amazing experience getting it done. It hurts like fuck, but once the adrenaline//etc kicks in I went into some kind of spaced-out state and just kind of dealt with it. In a good way.

Anyway.... the pretty evils have been a total bugger to heal. More painful than getting it done, and... like I said... totally incapacitating. I haven't really been able to leave the house for the last week because the backs of my knees are open. Ho hum... hopefully there will be progress soon and then I can go out and show them all off.

I don't mind suffering for beauty, but I think I took this one a bit far this time.
