Blah ;P
I am beginning to hate my Marketing class. I have a good teacher, and the curriculum is less boring than I thought it would be, but the bastard just won't let bashing finance majors, of which I am one. And he's one of those old school teachers that doesn't appreciate arguments, so I can't even defend my major without risking my grade. Its becoming very irritating.
Though I suppose the whole situation is kinda amusing. Marketing majors hate finance majors and think they are more important; Finance majors feel the same. Both of them look down on Economists as impractical "philosophers," and Economists think other business majors neglect the big picture. Humorously all three hate accountants, "who wants to be a score keeper?" might as well be a school motto outside of accounting classes.
The reason I find it amusing is because they are all trying to do basically the same thing, and when applied to an individual company you really need all for to succeed. Seems silly to argue which is more important when all are required, and I have no idea why everyone is united against accountants. I don't think they do either, which is kinda why its so amusing, no one can tell me why
On top of that I am taking a nature course over the summer, which I would enjoy greatly if not for the fact its taught by an eco-terrorist. I evidently shower way too much (twice a week is the max) and will be going to hell for buying bottled water. Drives me nuts, and I mean really really nuts, cause 80% of what he says is correct and makes sense and if he stopped there I think he might actually convert alot of people into being more nature conscious. But then there is the other 20% which I can't even say is crazy, it is beyond that. The line between sanity and crazy is a dot from wherever he is standing.
So thats how I am passing two days of the week summer. One day of being insulted, the next touring crazy town Hope your summer is just as interesting, but more fun and less annoying
