It's rare that you can meet someone to shoot and almost instantly find the vibe you're searching for.
It can often take a period of adjustment where you feel each other out, get an idea for what you're both searching for and then settle into a routine.
I met this American born Aussie based wildflower named Harvest and immediately took her to a pretty dodgy looking - whilst rustic and arty appearing - old shearing shed.
It was kinda creepy in there.
The possibility of snakes was pretty high, but I tried to block that out.
Harvest has the most hilarious laugh.
When she laughs she laughs right from her core.
She's got a really disarming "this is no big deal" kinda feel about her.
I think she's more comfortable naked than she is clothed. I could be wrong.
She's got a mischievous sparkle in her eyes.
She floats from spot to spot.
We just ripped straight into it, despite the imminent possibility of a 'joe blake' (snake) interrupting the shoot.
I loved her easy going nature, her willingness to try whatever I suggested and her warmth.
I couldn't have picked a better first SG for a shoot.
That day is one of my favourites for many reasons and I look back on it with fondness.
I hope to shoot one day with many other SG's including the wonderful @_kettle and many other of my favourite Aussie superstars.
And I can't wait until next week to shoot the awesome @rigor in Pennsylvania.
I so love this SG planet.
