GOOD NEWS & bad news......
what do you want first......
okokok. good news is we are no longer going to be doing boring shit. if you didn't know already, my unit got pulled from our patrol duties to do internal security, which is the most boring job that you could ever have. basically you just sit in a guard tower for 8-12 hrs and do nother. just stare off into the distance and ask yourself the same questions over and over again. (why is it that when i wake up i have the worst gas ever, why does it hurt when i haven't taken a shit in 2 weeks, what is this whole dating profile thing, WHAT THE FUCK AM I DOING IN IRAQ.)
but the good news is we are returning to what we do best, chaos and mayhem(don't take that literaly, we do not look for trouble, it looks for us). we are going to start patroling again, and hopefully the bordem will end.
k now the bad news.
we are patroling one of the WORST FUCKING NEIGHBORHOODS IN BAGHDAD. basically, at least one person dies there a week, and quite frankly i'm sick and tired of going to memorial services. talk about breaking someone down, that's the ticket.
please, please, please, do not worry about me. i wear my body armor and i am armed to the teeth. that's right ladies, minty fresh.....
