I finally realized that every day of crap I put up with in the Marines, thats one day less I have to deal with it. My sergeant told me today that once I get promoted to LCpl again he is going to put me up on a board for CPL. He said I am an outstanding Marine. He doesn't care what I did to get demoted, and that I started new when I came to Cherry Point. I am so stoked. I get promoted in July and I think the next board after that is Sept. I am going to rock that board. NJP and all. You don't even know how happy that makes me. To finally get recognized as being the Marine I am. Not the Marine my SRB(Service Record Book) says. All I have to do is get my PFT back up cause well since my demotion I have been kinda slackin cause of the whole not having a cutting score thing. Sorry for all you civilians out there that have no clue what I'm talking about but if you want it explained then just tell me. Either way, he made my whole fucking year today when he told me that. I hope everyone else had the awesome day I did
