Happy Monday SG!
It's the first day of March, are we all starting to get a spring into our step? I think I've even spotted some daffodils!
What is your favourite part of spring? Is it all the flowers or a visit from the Easter Bunny?
On this weeks SG craft spotlight we got to speak to the gorgeous hopeful @elorafawn about her little business of making handmade wearable ears!
So what can you tell us about what you make?
I make wearable ears for cosplay, daily wear or kitten/puppy play! I can make custom sets or people have the option of one of my own ideas.
Do you have any creators you follow who's work you admire a lot?
Yes! Candy Zombie is my favourite. The colours they use are my favourite and I’m aiming to be on the same level as them!
What was the first piece you made?
The first piece I made is the pink Trash Kitty ears! They took me a long time but it was worth it.
Apart from ears do you think you will be making any other kinds of pieces?
I’m hoping to start making ribbon collars! I'm actually saving up for a sewing machine right now so that I can make them.
Are you self taught in making these pieces or have you had any training?
Self taught!
What would you say are the worst and best materials to work with?
I HATE thick pile fur. It’s so hard to work with!
Where do you hope to be in a year with this project?
I’m really hoping to be selling them this time next year!
Do you do any other kinds of arts and crafts?
I don’t do any other arts and crafts as of yet but I’d love to find something else!
Where can we find or buy your pieces?
I sell mainly on Instagram @fawns.handmade but I do have an Etsy Store called Fawns Handmade!
We would love to thank @elorafawn for giving the time to speak to us today! Make sure to give her sets some love.
Till the next post!
