Ridiculously low self esteem day!!!!! Yay! Not I fucked up a sponge cake I made for my grandma. Overwhipped the eggs and sugar, baked it beautifully, but it came out ridiculously dense!!! It'll make an awesome trifle, but clearly the name sponge cake does not mean dense!


I don't know why I am so mad about it! Bit its literally ruined my night at work. FML

I feel so stupid. Can't even make a fucking sponge cake! Of you can't do it right the first time, then why even bother. Sadly that was how I was raised and that mentality has stuck with me. Thanks mom and dad!
