So for all the trouble the bank caused me: hours of argueing and waiting for calls, being on hold and getting the run around ("uh, i don't know what that code means. can i call you back?" "You need to call the branch you opened the account at...." ect); they fixed it in five minutes because I had the good fortune to talk to the one person at US bank who is not a dick. She seemed new, so she probably didn't realize that she was supposed to fuck me over too. Of course she called it a "one time courtesy fee reversal". Like it was still my fault.
In a small way i was a little disappointed. I never argue or complain with businesses. I never ask to talk with the manager. But I was fully prepared to go to war with them if i didn't get my fees back. I wasn't going to do anything illegal or even close my account. I was going to keep it open but take all my $$$ out as soon as it was deposited. Then everyday I was going to show up (preferrably at busy hours) and involve the tellers in the most convoluted banking transactions that i could think of. I was going to take their free literature, one of each every day. I would fill out paper work that they would have to process and ask managers about investment oppurtunities in T-bonds, but be all ADD about it. "APR? I don't understand. Could you take thirty minutes and explain it too me?" I don't think it would take too long to knock down their profits by $70+ dollars. Damn you, you semi-courtious bank manager for doing the right thing! I may have been bank-raped, but at least they gave me a reach-around in the end.
Not much doin' today. My sweets is meloncholy and unable to make me the most delicious chocolate chip cookies ever (including the wheaty ones) due to oven issues. I went to school, went to work, played with dogs and watched goldfinger. Sorry about being bad with the replies, I budget my time poorly.

We only put it up last night because my grandpa reminded us that we had intended to do it yesterday. We're so irresponsible.
