I was on my way to a hot date yesterday when my waterpump decided to quit on me. I saw that my engine had overheated, but I was fucking stuck behind a train. Ever see that car commercial with J Spader where he's going to a wedding and he gets stuck behind a train? It was like that. The light rattling was becoming loud chunks. Eventually my car was able to limp into the parking lot of Mike's Drive In Burgers. I placed the call to the lady, took a look at the car (I guessed right, the mechanic called this morning to tell me it would be $$$, unless the head is cracked then it's $$$$$) and settled in for the looooong wait. It sucks to be sitting alone in a parking lot all dressed up (I even put on a tie, what the fuck?) with nothing but a burger and shake to keep you company. It was a damn tasty burger though. If you ever breakdown in the Southeast, try to do it in the parking lot of Mike's Drive In Burgers.
