i found out my exboyfriend just won a settlement for 1.7 million dollars from the modesto police department.. the cops beat the shit out of that bastard while he was in jail

two of the main reasons i broke up with him was because of his reluctance to get a job for six months and his drinking problem.

ok, so now if he's smart with his money he wont actually have to work ever again..

and the reason he was arrested for in the first place was being drunk in public.

it's kinda weird because i saw him at the pub the other day before i found all of this out.. i was there with mutual friends that he was trying desperately hard to hold conversations with them in front of me while at the same time trying to ignore my attempts to say hi and be friends and keep the awkwardness to a minimum.. i HOPE to god that he doesn't think i was just talking to him because he's loaded now.. *gag*


HRMPH! i'm entitled to my fair share anyway.. my "breaking his heart" is what initiated the downward spiral that landed him in jail.

somehow.. i don't think he sees it like that though
