My computer is dying!
I'm desperately trying to transfer all my files to an external hardrive, but it keeps freezing when I try to! I hope I don't lose all my music...
Goodbye, little computer!
The three and a half years we had together were wonderful
P.S. How much money do you guys spend a week on groceries?

When I'm working I spend about $150 / week on food because eating out every day is my only option and truck stop food is usually way, way overpriced.
Regarding music / data loss... I know hindsight being 20-20 and all but it's usually wise to copy MP3s to CDR or writable DVDs or whatever. Huge lifesaver for those unexpected "surprises" that hard disks sometimes present you with.
(I.e., if it's freezing and the hard drive is making grindy/clicky noises, then you need a new hard drive. If it's still freezing after you've put on a new operating system, it's probably overheating or has some bad memory. Etc.
The point I'm trying to make is, you probably don't need to get a totally new computer.)
