TATTOO PICTURE TIME!
Bandage-y-ness:
Day after it was done:
How it looks today:
Me looking retarded to show you the placing:
It might not look it, but its like perfectly straight - its just so damn hard to take pictures of your own back
As for the meaning behind it (you can skip this), I was diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder my senior year of high school, and have been struggling with it ever since. I didnt take it seriously enough and my meds werent prescribed correctly until this past summer, so I was depressed on and off from my last year of high school through my first two years of college. I chose the word equilibrium to show myself how, despite Ill Ive been through, Ive been able to take control of my depression and keep everything in my life, including my illness, my friends, my family, and my school work, in a state of balance, and that after all this time Ive finally been able to achieve a state of mental and emotional stability.
It was done by Joey (who was really great!) at Fat Rams Pumpkin Tattoo in Boston - http://www.fatramtattoo.com/
Eeeee, I love it
