I finally got my tattoo after over a year of planning - huzzah!
It hurt sooo bad - I'm such a puss bag. It felt like a scalpel was being being dug into and dragged across my back. But it only took like 20 minutes, luckily. Now the bandage is all bloody and gross, but it looked so nice before he patched it up - yay!
I think they overcharged me, but to get it done at the best shop in Boston, whatever, I don't care. It was $150 for a 7 inch text tattoo, and I tipped him $25 (which I hope is okay).
But yay, I'm all happy now! *dances*
P.S. I'll post pics tomorrow once I wash it and stuff
P.P.S. Btw, I have so much respect for all of you tattooed people now that I know what it feels like. I don't think I'd ever be able to handle getting an elaborate chestpiece or sleeve because it would hurt so badly. But yeah, wow, you guys rock.
