I hung out last night after Instant Films with Maxx, insaniac and methoxy -- who participated in bringing together a really slick show -- and bean and Shalome who, like myself, were in the audience. It's a fun event, and I'll be sure to post the next time I'll be acting in one for those of you in LA. Go check out the above link to the Instant Films site to see how it works.
We had a really nice post-show dinner at Fred 62's where they are always playing music I like, the waitresses are gorgeous and the food is almost always perfect. Most of us were exhausted, each for a completely different reason.
You know... I was about to write about how I feel about this whole "public journal" thing. But the more I wrote, the more it seemed like I was giving a really detailed description of the contents of my navel.
So I'll leave you with the contents of Shakespeare's 148th sonnet. I'm working on it right now for one of my acting classes. Make of it what you will.
O me, what eyes hath Love put in my head,
Which have no correspondence with true sight !
Or, if they have, where is my judgment fled,
That censures falsely what they see aright ?
If that be fair whereon my false eyes dote,
What means the world to say it is not so ?
If it be not, then love doth well denote
Loves eye is not so true as all mens : no ;
How can it ? O, how can Loves eye be true,
That is so vexd with watching and with tears ?
No marvel, then, though I mistake my view ;
The sun itself sees not, till heaven clears.
O, cunning love ! with tears thou keepst me blind,
Lest eyes well-seeing thy foul faults should find.
