So dude was paying more attention to his phone and his screaming kid then the road. I think my car is totaled but idk. The insurance person will be out at some point this week

So I really wanted to be able to get like a good flow going at work so I could like go out and be social like a normal human. Buuuuuuuuuuut that hasn't happened yet lol. Work is still crazy busy so we haven't been able to go back into training and finish so I'm still stuck at this really crapy schedule. I pretty much spend...

Hello hello

Just a blog because I want to. So I have my permanent desk at work now. We are not fully done with training yet but I'm lad to have my own space to make my own rather then just having a class room and a temp desk. They don't know when we will actually finish training at this point. Since they have hired...

Call centers are good for a bit. Who is it that you work for?  I was with Xerox and Convergys for the first 3 years I was here. It gets old after a little while. Glad you're making it your own space. Miss you bunches! <3

I work for VSP. Its one of the biggest vision insurance companies. I like the job a lot but I just wanna change my schedule. They have the option of doing 4/10's and that's what I really wanna do. I just need to wait till training is done.

Heh, and I've gotta let my sub laps next month. >.<  I wish we could go back to PPO medical insurance. It felt like I paid so much less back then. Either way, good to see the uptick. We said you just had to hold on and it would get there for you. Maybe not 100%, but it's what you need for now.
diddy_dave_uk:
Congratulations on the new job!! Sorry you are having to pay so much for your meds!! For all the criticism it gets we are so lucky in the UK to have the NHS that is for the most part free!! Pray things settle down at home and all the best with the new job!!💓💓

Hello all!

Just needing to get some stuff off my chest.

Life has been out of control stressful lately. My mom finally told her husband that the marriage is over. She was trying to make it work for 6 months now. But it just wasn't going to happen. So, on Sunday they got into a fight and she just told him it was over. So...

Oh man.  That sounds like hell.  I can certainly understand the stress about buying a home under pressure.  One time i had a girlfriend kick me out of her home after she told me she'd been cheating on me, i had to find another home quick and it sucked.  It's an opportunity, but in the moment you don't see it that way, i felt like you, unable to motivate on much of anything.  If you can, focus on your mom i guess and try not to think about the financial impact on you.  Sounds like she could use your support and if it means your trapped with her for awhile, so be it.  Make it work to the best of your ability and advantage.  She will appreciate it and we all owe mothers something even if we don't see eye to eye.
dansiego3:
And i would also add, while you are pitching in on your mom's needs, try to pamper yoursef too if you can.  Divorce tough on everyone.

Soo let’s see. Today I got the day off work because our computer systems weren’t working. They said it would take all day to fix so they whole office was sent home. Some people were upset because we lose a day of pay. I'm not too happy about that either but I was happy to get the day off. I feel like I have no...

First off, love you and I'm back. Secondly, you can do this!

Yep, pay all this $$ for ins and you're always scared to use it because of how much it costs. I pay much less because of super high deductible, but then shit like that ER visit....ugh. I JUST avoided collections from the damned ER via a balance xfer on my CC. :-(

Hello there.

So, I know it has been quite some time since I have even posted on this site. But I have had a lot going on in my life for the last few months.

I have been trying to see my Dr. since September but since my job doesn’t give you time off for that it hasn’t been easy. I have made two appoints...

I am so sorry to read. I know how difficult doctors can be and i wish you all the healthy vibes i can send. And that things get better for you

I moved down here primarily for medical reasons, but the harsh reality of financials also kicked in as well. We're at the point that dad basically sits in bed all day and doesn't help much at all anymore. He flat said he's not comfortable handling the dogs if one of us goes anywhere. He won't do things that would help the household because it's not how He wants to do it, even though it wouldn't be a bad direction to go (two houses both "breaking" equally and we live in one). I couldn't attempt to move out if I wanted to both financially and the sanity of mom. I do quite a bit around the house as well as probably more than I'm supposed to outside the house. It's appreciated, but it also tends to cost me every now and then (new tools, etc). I remember the first time we moved Back to the states. once we got past year 3 we were all at each other's throats because we were cooped up in the same house. I can't believe we survived the remaining two years after that. It's not quite the same now, but he still pisses everyone off 'cause he's bull headed.

Well I have been super busy for the past month.

I started a full time job on June 18th. So I went from having all kinds of time on my hands to have none at all hahahha! I love my new job. I'm a call center operator :D Our computer systems haven't been working all that well. We also don't even have access to one...

I'm super glad you like our call center job. I did that for 4 years. Loved it and hated it at the same time. I really hope they figure out your back and make you all better, stronger, faster. hehehe Love you! <3

Good luck! If you get scared or anxious at all ask them to give you Versed. Don't be afraid to ask. Everyone gets nervous. It can be loud.
