fuck me what an eventful day ive had!
had a bloody bomb dropped off in the front desk work!!! whole building had to be evacuated and the bomb squad came and did a controlled explosion! I was outside trying to get a good look, freezing my norks off, chain smoking and didnt see a chuffing thing! we got ushered into a neighbouring building who very kindly leant us their heat for a few hours grr! bomb squad left, i returned to my office, clocked off and tootled off to lunch haha!!
mates dad who was killed in car crash 2 weeks ago looks to have been killed by a different friend's dad! problem is these two friends have known each other for years and hate each other! and to make matters worse the persons fault it was, the one who's still alive (still with me??) when the accident happened he was actually driving back from clearing out their parents house who were also killed in a car crash over the christmas period! now friend 2 who's dad "killed" friend 1's dad made friend 1's life a total misery for a good (or bad depending on how you look at it) couple of years so friend 1 is really feeling crap. and im not sure what i can do to help apart from listen to her and make her smile as often as possible.
okay, i have decide that as my various attempts to get a job as a trainee nurse have failed I will apply for a job in the forensics department at work and work my way up to scenes of crime office...... today i get a job interview to be a trainee nurse!
i mean how fucking ironic is life sometimes????????????
here's the deal - job interviews for forensic job are this friday and i havent heard anything yet (they got my application form monday just gone). i am gonna hold out for forensic job and if it doesnt happen i will go for interview at the hospital. if i get interview and offered forensics job i will accept and tell the hospital to chuff-off. sorted.
