I recently had cause to hang out with an acquaintance of mine that is the sort to actually blanch at facial piercings. Between my boyfriend, my other friends, and the folks here at SG, I've become so immersed in this sort of not-really-subculture that I sometimes tend to forget that other people still view body piercing as strange and bizarre. It was kind of a surreal experience.

Back to school in less than two weeks. Huzzah!
