Today a good friend of mine informed me of something that had been bumming me out. We sat on the deck and smoked our cigarettes as she told me about her good friend Katie. The story began with her meeting her at a pride festival and how close they had gotten in the past couple of years. She told me about the medical issues that Katie has and how expensive everything was. This beautiful woman has gone through many struggles with this medical battle..
